Upgrade to the latest Auterra scan tool hardware and software. This upgrade is for existing Auterra scan tool owners only.

Do you own an older, non-CAN bus Windows or Palm scan tool? Need to upgrade to the latest Auterra software and hardware? By sending us your old scan tool (working or not) you will receive a discount on a new A-300 scan tool kit. The upgrade allows you to connect to 1996 and newer vehicles including ones equipped with CAN bus. Any prior Auterra scan tool is eligible for this upgrade.

To check the adapter version, connect to a vehicle then select the About Hardware menu. Version 1.xx or 2.xx hardware does not support CAN bus equipped vehicles. 3.00 and higher supports CAN bus and all the older legacy OBD II protocols.

After purchase, follow these instructions to receive your new scan tool.

Ship your old Auterra scan tool back to Auterra. Mark the package with the 4-digit Auterra order number emailed to you after purchasing this product.
